About Me

Love Singing – Love Synchro – Love Life – Love Chaos

I am a 16 year old singer/songwriter from Rugby in Warwickshire and am currently working on my first EP to be released soon.

I am passionate about singing and entertaining people which I do regularly at Festivals, Gigs, and  Charity Events I have also performed at  the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. I like all genres of music with a few favourite artists such as Sam Smith, Lotto Boyz, ZieZie, Etta James, Paloma Faith, Yebba, Ariana Grande,  and Anne Marie. I love to feel the music, in my opinion a really great voice evokes the strongest emotions.

I am a very hard working individual with a great work ethic, I can dance, I regularly keep fit, and I have a fab voice with a great tone and strength.

In the past I have worked with and had some song writing mastering classes from The Fred Cox  … who has collaborated with me on my debut EP as well as with many other Artists including, Paloma Faith, Idris Elba, Rag N Bone Man et al. , and The JinJin who has worked with Jess Glynne, Tine Tempah, Madison Beer, Raye & Mr Eazi to name but a few.

“Abz Winter recently came third in a competition to find the most talented singers in the Rugby area, She was robbed. What a voice this girl has. Big power ballads are her thing. However she opened her set with an up tempo version of “We don’t have to take our clothes off” in the style of Jermaine Stewart. Then in complete contrast a very emotional and spine tingling rendition of Queen’s “Only The Good Die Young” which had some of the audience in tears. There was added poignancy because the following week she was to attend the funeral of a friend recently passed. This girl can ring the changes and proceeded to do so by going into RAP next, closing her set by not just singing, but delivering the powerful “I (who have nothing)” by special request of  Sean the barman”.

“I am sure that power ballads were written for Abz Winter. She opened with a Christina Aguilera number “Something got a hold on me” from Burlesque. She danced around the small stage area exhibiting moves that enhanced the song no end. I am sure her experience as a synchronised swimmer helped in this regard. I find I am liking Abz’ performances more and more, this likeable girl has a sunny vibrant personality and emanates the confidence and stagecraft instilled in all the students at the Big Help Academy. The Zutons “Valerie” and Paloma Faith’s “Upside Down” preceded a couple of humdingers. “I who have nothing” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” which closed the show, the latter with Nicky Dawn Stewart and Lorna Dea as backing singers, nearly brought down the house. The power, control and sheer quality of this young girl’s voice can amaze. Long may she continue to entertain us”.
